Time: There are no set rules. Some, like me, prefer the morning. Before dinner or before bed time are also good. One can even break up the practice session into ten minute sections. Ideally, you should create a special place to pratice your asanas, one that is away from household interference, that is clean, and has a rug. Women should not do inverted poses during menstruation as these interfere with the natural outflow of blood. Before You Begin: —Wait for 4-5 hours after a heavy meal before doing asanas. If you
